High School Youth Ministry — Grades 9–12High School Youth Ministry is a place for teens to build meaningful friendships, wrestle honestly with their faith, encounter Jesus Christ, and discover what it means to live as His disciple.

Large Group | Faith Formation
Each Sunday from 3:30 PM to 4:45 PM, high school teens gather together to have fun, sing songs together, hear relevant and dynamic teaching, encounter God, and ultimately discover a space where they can truly belong.
Participation in Large Group fulfills the Archdiocesan faith formation requirement for youth preparing to enter Sacramental preparation.

Small GroupsAfter the 5:00 PM Mass, teens are invited to stay for our Small Groups ministry. We share dinner together before gathering in Small Groups from about 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Small Groups give teens a consistent place to build friendships, talk honestly about faith and life, pray together, and be known and supported by their peers and leaders.

Home-Based
Family Faith FormationTeens that are not available on Sunday afternoons are encouraged to receive formation through our Home-Based Family Faith Formation model.

Confirmation PreparationEligible teens in grades 10–12 who desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to enter our Confirmation preparation program.

Youth Leadership
Our Teen Leadership Team gives Confirmed teens the opportunity to make St. Edward Youth Ministry their own by welcoming their peers, giving their witness, and leading by example.
Teens serve as small group leaders, retreat leaders, and help plan events for Junior High and High School.
