REGISTRATION FOR FAMILY FAITH FORMATION FOR 2026-2027 WILL OPEN IN JULY!
THE PILLARS OF OUR FORMATION MODELS
Family-focused
This means that our models will keep the family together instead of splitting our formation day and time between age and grades. We want formation to be an experience that leads all members of the family closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ.
Sunday Model of Formation - families meet on campus from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm and are encouraged to attend the 5 pm Mass together.
Home-based Model of Formation - families meet on campus once a month on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Accompaniment
Pope Francis speaks of this quite often. It is important to recognize that while we all have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we do not walk the path that leads to heaven alone. Ministry leaders (catechists and small group leaders as well as staff members) are here to get to know you, offer support and encouragement, and create a space where families feel welcome, known, and loved.
We will offer small group opportunities for teens in 6th-12th grade who want to deepen their faith and continue to build relationships with other teens in the community.
Small Groups meet from 6 pm to 8 pm and dinner is served for teens and core team members signed up to participate.
CATECHETICAL MINISTRY TEAM In order to give parishioners the best and most joyful experience of formation, we need ministry leaders who can serve in one of these roles. Prayerfully consider if the Lord is calling you to serve Him in any of these ways and sign up accordingly when you fill out the family faith formation registration form.
Small Group Leaders and Assistants (early childhood & elementary) Fully initiated adults and teens lead Sunday formation for children in Pk4-5th Grade.
Core Members (Large Group leaders for 6th-12th graders) Fully initiated adults and teens lead Sunday formation for youth in 6th-12th grade.
Hall Monitors & Nurses Adult parishioners who are strong observers, are attentive to detail, and put the safety of all the children, teens, parents, and catechetical ministers first. Adults serving as nurses must be trained in the medical field.
