In the early 1980s, new leadership at the parish brought a vision to expand St. Edward Catholic Church. In the 1990s, with a growing Catholic community, that goal and commitment continued to take shape.
Purchasing land, constructing the junior high school, playground, and multipurpose sports field all contributed to the growth of the parish community. Additionally, a new rectory was built, and the old rectory was converted into a parish office. The ultimate goal was to build a new church.
During this time, ministries were created to serve the parish. The Festival of Ministries began as a gathering of all groups, with the theme of helping parishioners while serving God and the Church.
In the mid-1990s, a Festival Committee was formed to support the needs of parish development. Then, as now, parish leadership, clergy, deacons, and Stewardship—along with multiple ministries—came together to support this effort.
The Feast Day Festival 2025 marks a milestone of 30 years, supporting God, the Church, and all its good works.
